Are you looking to cancel your PureGym membership? Whether you’re switching to a different gym or taking a break from fitness, canceling your membership is a straightforward process. In this article, we’ll walk you through the step-by-step guide on how to cancel your PureGym membership.

Step 1: Log in to the PureGym website

The first step is to log in to the Member’s Area on the PureGym website. Once you’re logged in, navigate to the Your Gym Pass section and select Manage.

Step 2: Freeze or Cancel Your Membership

After selecting Manage, you’ll find an option to freeze or cancel your membership. Choose the Cancel Your Membership option.

Step 3: Follow the instructions

Follow the instructions provided to complete the cancellation process. Make sure to read and understand any terms or conditions associated with canceling your membership.

It’s important to note that PureGym requires you to cancel your membership at least 5 working days before your next payment is due to avoid further charges.

If you’re within 5 days of your direct debit being due, you may need to wait until the direct debit is processed before canceling online. Alternatively, you can cancel your direct debit with your bank. In this case, your membership will remain active for the month, and no further payments will be taken.

For fixed-term memberships or corporate memberships, you’ll need to get in touch with PureGym’s Member Services team or inform the third-party who set up your membership.

Pausing your membership

If you’re planning to return to PureGym in the future, consider pausing your membership instead of canceling it. Freezing your membership locks in the price you pay and protects you from any monthly price increases. Additionally, there will be no joining fee when you decide to reactivate your membership.

Core members can freeze their membership for £6.99 per month, while PureGym Plus members can freeze their membership for up to 3 months in a 12-month period at no cost.

Final Notes

Remember, if you ignore any outstanding payments, it may impact your credit score and potentially result in additional fees. Therefore, it’s crucial to adhere to PureGym’s cancellation policies and notify them within the required timeframe.

Cancelling your PureGym membership is a simple process that can be done online through the Member’s Area. Just make sure to cancel at least 5 working days before your next payment to avoid any further charges. If you have any questions or need assistance, don’t hesitate to reach out to PureGym’s Member Services team for guidance.

By following these step-by-step instructions, you can cancel your PureGym membership hassle-free and adjust your fitness goals accordingly.
